CHEETO – A1077703
Safe - 6-29-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
**SAFE 06/29/16** BEGINNER-rated SNACK ATTACK kittens need you tonight! Meet PRINGLES, BUGLES and CHEETO, three young kittens who are in grave danger tonight! These kittens have all earned the BEST rating the ACC gives out, and they are all right around 6 months of age, so they are just PERFECT additions to any kind of home. And it’s Adopt A Cat month at the ACC, so by all rights they should have been able to find homes for these little hug machines. That’s one way to know your skills are woefully lacking, when you’re a shelter who can’t find homes for PERFECT BEGINNER-RATED KITTENS, but then again, what can one expect from a “shelter” whose big marketing plan is a nightly KILL LIST?! Please don’t let these three babies be the next faces looking out from the GONE folder! Advocate fiercely for PRINGLES, BUGLES and CHEETO, tonight!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cheeto was at the front of the cage playing with his sibling When spoken quietly: Cheeto stays at front and starts soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Cheeto remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Cheeto solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Cheeto is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Cheeto was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, stays at the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
