04/06/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/06/17 20:58 Basic information: Chazz is a 10 yr. old female domestic short hair mix. The owner surrendered Chazz because her behavior has become unpredictable. The owner has never taken Chazz to a vet. Socialization: The owner states that around strangers Chazz is very shy and fearful. Chazz has never been around children. Chazz has lived with another small Yorkshire terr mix but they would fight with each other all the time and would have to be kept in separate rooms. Chazz has bitten the owner’s friend on the leg after she told Chazz to get off a piece of furinture. Behavior: Chazz has never been bathed, had her nails trimmed, had her coat brushed and hates being picked up and being placed in a cat carrier (she will struggle and swat the person). For a new family to know: The owner describes Chazz shy, independent and fearful cat with a medium activity level. Chazz has played with rubber ball and string cat toys; she lives mostly indoors and sleeps anywhere in the house that she wants. In the home Chazz will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner. Chazz eats Meow Mix brand dry cat food and is open feed. He is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Chazz has never been given a scratching post so the owner does not know if he will use it or not. Behavior during intake: During intake Chazz was very tense with stiff body, he allowed us to scan (-) put on collar, photographed and placed in cat kennel but did flinch and attempt to flee multiple times.
