**SAFE 07/03/16** “CHASE WAS AT THE FRONT OF THE KENNEL REACHING OUT WITH HIS PAWS” Why is this cat on a list and not in the adoptions room??? Because the ACC gave him their shelter cold, that’s why and now he can be conveniently listed….. CHASE is a young, orange tabby sweetheart who is full of energy and will need directed playtime to work off that energy. CHASE does need to be neutered. Other than that, CHASE is a healthy, young guy who should be in a home, not on a kill list….CHASE will make a Purrfect Companion! …..DON’T WAIT TO APPLY!! THESE 31 CATS NEED YOU NOW!! If you need help, email [email protected]

06/18/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Chase was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Chase was at the front of the kennel reaching out with paws. Reaction when softly spoken to: Chase backs away then starts head butting the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Chase remains calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Chase rubs up for attention and allows petting all over. At certain points Chase tenses up and focuses on the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Chase becomes tense and starts to grumble when attempting to pick up. His ears flatten, gets antsy and jumps away. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Chase may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
