***SAFE 03/21/16 *** IS THERE A VETERINARIAN IN THE HOUSE?? A competent one, that is….CHARLOT is doing her best but still having a hard time at the ACC…..Possibly hit by a car, CHARLOT now has the ACC cold. Is it any wonder she wants to curl up and sleep?? CHARLOT is only two years old and is a head-butter with an AVERAGE rating…..She certainly needs care right now and that will save her…BUT ONLY IF SOMEONE STEPS UP TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!! Please give CHARLOT the CHANCE she needs!! If you need assistance, email [email protected]

Sometimes it’s the smallest packages that hold the greatest presents and pretty Charlot is one of the best you could hope to receive. I’ve known and loved this quiet little doll since the day she arrived and been lucky enough to experience her gentle charms up close and personal. She’s a snuggly, affectionate girl and was initially very attention-seeking, nuzzling against her box to solicit petting and purring up a storm when I obliged. But now that she’s in the bustling Adoptions area with so many people passing by, sweet Charlot has turned into a bit of a wallflower and you’ll find her shyly clinging to the back of her den for comfort. Don’t be fooled–she’s still the same friendly cat she always was, give her a chance to warm up and she’s just as cuddly as ever! I guarantee that in a real home, safe in your loving arms, Charlot will blossom again in no time. She’s earned a fantastic behavior review and is ready and waiting to put it to good use with her new forever family. So when you visit our Manhattan Care Center please don’t walk on by, stop and sit a while with Miss Charlot, you’ll be so glad you did.

A volunteer writes: I was intrigued by her name, was Charlot a little tramp(the first role Charlie Chaplin was known for), or a real lady? I would have to say, hands down, lovely lady here. This sweet little girl came to us as a stray, so we don’t know her background, I think she has a very bright future as soon as her super-hero(you???)comes to claim her as their own. She’s a true baby doll, I feel very privileged to have met her.
