***SAFE 02/09/16*** BEAUTIFUL KITTEN CHARDONNAY THOUGHT SHE FOUND A HOME WHEN SOMEONE STARTED FEEDING HER – BUT SADLY HE WHISKED HER OFF TO THE ACC WHERE NOW SHE IS ON THE LIST EVEN THOUGH SHE IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY!! CHARDONNAY is only 8 months old and she is such a little beauty queen! This petite little girl was found in a building by someone who put up flyers and tried to find her owner. Sadly after only 2 days he gave up and brought her into the ACC where she was sweet and friendly upon intake. But after being here and realizing her finder was not coming back, she became a little afraid. On her assessment she was swatting and hissed, so even though everyone knows this purrfectly friendly cat is afraid, they slapped her with the EXPNOCHILD rating and stuck her on this list even though she is healthy!! Meanwhile the ACC has their own fosters that take kittens all the time but nobody was there for poor CHARDONNAY! All she needs is to get OUT of the shelter and into a loving safe home and she will be a pure purr-bug! OPEN YOUR HEARTS TONIGHT TO THIS SWEET GIRL AND PULL HER OUT OF HARMS WAY. EMAIL [email protected] IF YOU NEED RESCUE CONTACT INFO. CHARDONNAY DESERVES TO LIVE AND HAVE A HAPPILY EVER AFTER LIKE EVERY PRINCESS!!

02/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Chardonnay looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Chardonnay hisses at the assessor, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Chardonnay slowly sniffs the assessor’s hand then began to roll over (soliciting attention), but becomes agitated with the touch swats with no claws and quickly nips. Placement determination: Experience / no child Chardonnay tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
