06/27/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Cece was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Her finder reports she allowed them to pick her up and place her into a carrier. She tolerated handling during her initial medical exam, but appeared lethargic. Reaction to assessor: Cece was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach, lying down on her blanket. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cece leans against the wall, and then comes to the front to rub against the cage door. Reaction to door opening: Cece remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Cece head-butts, leans in for petting, and begins to purr. She rolls over and nudges the assessor’s hand with her head. She is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to Being Picked up: Cece remains calm and allows all handling. Placement determination: Beginner Cece interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Despite her medical condition, she remains friendly and social. This cat can go to a beginner home.
