10/17/16 19:17 Camilla was found by her previous owners as a stray when she was a kitten. They took care of her for a year, but recently moved to no pet housing and were forced to surrender her. They state that Camilla might have fleas. Camilla was described by previous owners as friendly. When they first found her, she walked right up to them. Camilla has lived with a four year old. She was reported to love to play gently with the child, and to cuddle and be held. Camilla has never lived with any other pet. Camilla escaped the house a few times but always came back. She is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Camilla will struggle and hiss during a bath, but received them for several times a month. She allows nail trimming, being brushed, and loves to be held. She will allow being put in a carrier. Camilla was reported to have a medium to high activity level. She has been mostly indoors, but was found as a stray and did escape the house a few times. Previous owner stated you have to be careful around her when you open doors and windows have to have strong screens. Camilla is used to eating both wet and dry cat food. She loves to follow her previous owners around the house. During intake, Camilla sniffed counselor’s hand and walked out of the carrier. she allowed to be picked up and moved around the table. She allowed for collaring. She walked back into her carrier on her own.

10/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
As per previous owner, Carmilla has lived with a four year old child and was playful and gentle with the child. Camilla escaped the house a few times but always came back. She has never lived with other pets and she’s litter box trained. Camilla allows being brushed, loves being held and doesn’t mind being placed in a carrier. Reaction to assessor: Camilla was at the front of the kennel looking out at her surroundings. Reaction when softly spoken to: Camilla lifts her head up, then gently head butts the kennel door seeking attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Camilla takes a step back and lip licks. Reaction to touch: Camilla sniffs the assessor’s hand then slowly brushes up allowing cheek and neck rubs. Her movements are slow, she allows petting all over and she’ll lip lick occasionally. Reaction to being picked up: Camilla has a relaxed body when picked up and allows all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Camilla interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.

Too tense to palpate fully, but may be early pregnancy, as nipples are also enlarged. Intake has no history of indoor/outdoor activity. VC requested. Ambx4 Nails short to medium NOSF
