07/25/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cami does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Cami does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Cami remains motionless Reaction to touch: Cami allows petting and attention with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Cami is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience Cami was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed. I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
