11/21/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/21/16 10:24 Cambrie A1097510 is a 2yr old female dilute torbie & white DSH feline who was left at the finder’s home a few days ago in the Bronx. They aren’t able to keep her any longer but stated Cambrie seems to like to be by herself as she hid while the family was awake/up and about however at night she would come out to “do her thing”. The finder stated Cambrie after a few minutes of avoiding capture allowed them to place her in a carrier they borrowed. During intake Cambrie allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. Cambrie hissed, tensed her body and gave me “airplane ears” but didn’t resist being picked up to be placed into her kennel.

11/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cambrie looks neutral, sitting upright on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Cambrie remains in place, relaxed body posture, eating her food. Reaction to touch: Cambrie looks at the assessor’s hand then hisses, gentle paws, and grumbles in place to stop the interaction. Placement determination: NH ONLY Cambrie is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
