*** SAFE 07/18/16 *** NOT A PINK CADILLAC BUT A GRAY & WHITE CADILLAC….This young lady is 3 years old and stray. Not spayed and possibly pregnant, CADILLAC is quite afraid at the shelter but was able to be handled with patience. She would be a lovely cat if someone would take the time to work with her and let her blossom at her own pace….IS THAT PURRSON OUT THERE TONIGHT?? CADILLAC only has until noon tomorrow. She is listed as rescue only so a potential foster/adopter would need to contact a NEW HOPE rescue. If you need assistance, finding a NEW HOPE rescue, email us at [email protected]

07/10/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cadillac does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Cadillac does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening:Cadillac remains motionless Reaction to touch: Cadiliac allows petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Cadillac is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience Cadillac was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
