A volunteer writes: It took a while for me to convince Buttons that I just wanted to pet him and make him feel like a special kitty, but once he decided that he would go along with my plan, it took him no time at all to roll over on his back and let me pet his tummy. He is a nice-looking, mature and quiet tuxedo cat, and I have to admit that I am easily seduced by handsome tuxies like Buttons. But his soft personality was even more attractive. I can imagine him being a constant and loving companion to someone who will bring out the best in him.
Another volunteer writes: Last week Buttons was a bit reticent to come and hang out with me, but he has done a full 180° over the past seven days and he comes right out to make his intentions known. And his intentions are to have you pet him until your hands fall off! He is just a delightful older guy who collapses and rolls on his back; and when you pull your hand away he jumps up and meows for more. He is a very special kitty and needs a very special human companion to match!
