Huge tomcat, no intake notes yet. Wide eyed, alert, focuses on my movements. Hisses and growls. Not receptive to interaction at this time. Gave some tuna and sprayed Feliway. Initial med exam pending.\

Nervous and wary, but comes foward to say hello. Allows some petting but becomes uncomfortable quickly, tail starts swishing, hisses at my hand and pulls back. Sometimes growls. Needs time to adjust. HUGE cat. Sprayed Feliway, gave fresh food and water and treats and a catnip plush toy. Update: Checked back to see how he’s doing. Came to the front, rubbing his face against bars of door before I opened. Stayed friendly with me, rubbing his massive head against my hands, going back and forth, back and forth. Always stayed right at the front, appreciative of the attention. He wasn’t tolerant of being picked up at this time, but he is a giant cat. Gave some catnip-silver vine mix, which he enjoyed rubbing his face on, and treats, which he really enjoyed.
