Cat was easy to handle.
Full thickness would R dorsal flank size of a nickel – no discharge, alopecia around would with some erythema. Muscle wall below looks intact and viable. No evidence of a bite. No pocket ventrally, slight dorsal pocket.
- A) Full thickness 2 cm oblong wound R flank.
- P) Clip/ clean. Place 1 suture to partially close wound so not gaping open but still left open about 3 mm to drain.
Cat part of TNR program. Gave convenia 0.3 cc sq in case they will release. Stopped clavamox.
Set up to clean wound daily. Re-check in 3 days.

M ~ 1 year old
behavior-comes to front of cage to illicit attention, allows all petting and will allow you to pick him up. tolerated all handling on the table and was extremely cooperative while being examined, friendly.
Ears- clean
Eyes- clear with no discharge
Nose- clear with no discharge
Teeth- slight yellow stainging on canine but rest of teeth are white.
Coat clean and good condition.
Would on right caudal side the size of a nickel. shaved up a little bit and cleaned out with nolvasan solution and 1 suture put in. E-collar place to avoid any further damage to the area.
