***SAFE 03/17/16***BUDDY NEEDS A NEW BUDDY-BE HIS HERO! Buddy is a young sweet kitty who came into the shelter with 4 puncture wounds on his upper left leg that appeared to be marks from cat bites. He will need a placement in a home/foster/boarding/vet where he can be monitored for 6 months before being adopted/neutered…He is a darling year and a half year old boy with a great behavior rating. He has managed to avoid the at-risk list for nearly a month—probably due to his good looks and charming purrsonality. Well, now that he has caught the dreaded kitty cold (very curable), his precious life is at risk. Can you help this extremely sweet boy by opening up your heart and home to him? Please let us know if you can be Buddy’s hero. Transportation is available for delivery of this dear boy directly to your doorstep. He will need monitoring since he came in with bite marks. Email our help desk and we will lead you through the easy peasy process- [email protected] This good guy has made it this far and we have to do all we can to move him to safe haven. Be Buddy’s buddy by making the call for him NOW!!!

Since then he has opened up a lot and is very affectionate, constantly seeking attention. Reaction to assessor: Buddy is calm, relaxed and playing with his toys at the back of the kennel. He makes eye contact with the assessor but doesn’t come forward. Reaction when softly spoken to: Buddy comes forward slowly and head butts the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Buddy is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Buddy allows petting all over and is very affectionate. He rubs up against the assessor’s hand and rolls around playfully. Reaction to being picked up: Buddy is a bit tense when held. He is wary of the environment and leaps back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Average Buddy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
