My name is BRISTOL. My Animal ID # is A1119705. – P
I am a female black and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 15 WEEKS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/25/2017 from NY 10029, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K17-105530.

07/25/2017 Exam Type DVM INTAKE – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 3.9 LBS.

Hx: 10 kittens were abandoned at MACC inside an ottoman; appear to be different ages, most are sneezing S/O approx 3-5 months BAR, a little skiddish but allows handling mm pk, moist; deciduous dentitia present mucoserous nasal discharge, sneezing OU-mild increased epiphora AU-waxy debris, non pruritic heart/lungs WNL soft, nonpainful abdomen clean coat female A URI P doxycycline 0.4 ml PO SID x 10 days prognosis: good temp s/n waiver due to URI

07/25/17 13:27 All cats allowed handling for their picture being taken and being collared. They were nervous but when approached slowly they allowed for counselor to pick up. All cats scannned negative for chip.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet ENRICHMENT NOTES: Relentlessly affectionate! At the front on approach, soft eyes and body, rubbing against the bars. Leaned and arched enthusiastically into pets, purred. Continuously tried to crawl into my lap, sat calmly when held. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Bristol immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Bristol remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Bristol head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: She allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Bristol interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
