H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: FI, no MGTs, no vulvar d/c
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, all nails are frayed and bleeding, face has superficial wound on mouth from trying to flee
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment:
Frayed nails x4 paws and superficial wound to lips/face from trap and trying to flee
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Sedated with 0.15ml IM telazol
Onsior 2mg/kg SQ once
Monitor wounds
Prognosis: Excellent
SURGERY: ok to schedule for surgery
