***SAFE 07/18/16***ABANDONED BY THE ONLY FAMILY SHE HAS EVER KNOWN! BRANDI is a 6 year old gray tabby lady. She was born in her previous home, and lived there her entire life. Now 6 years later, suddenly her “owner” has decided that she and her 4 house mates (not listed tonight) are not worth their time any more, and dumped them off at the shelter so they could move to a new home that doesn’t accept pets! This poor baby girl has just been through the ultimate betrayal. She’s a bit tense in the shelter, and understandably so. She allows handling and petting but is unsure of herself and has been RATED EXPERIENCED. Given a bit of time in a loving home, Brandi could certainly blossom into the kitty she truly is! Her previous owner noted her as playing gently with the other cats in the home, and is relaxed and affectionate with people. She doesn’t belong in a cramped cage at the ACC. She’s been listed to DIE AT NOON TOMORROW if someone doesn’t come scoop her up in time! Please offer to FOSTER/ADOPT this little girl RIGHT NOW! Contact the Help Desk at [email protected] if you need assistance.

At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer.
