AUSTIN aka BOY – A1057011
Safe - 3-22-2017 Brooklyn
SAFE 3/22/17 A volunteer writes: Boy oh boy, is this Boy a handful! Boy can usually be found at the door of his kennel, sticking out his paw to get your attention, and then rubbing up against the door and rolling onto his back in hopes of getting you to stick your hand in to pet him. Now, Boy might seem to be just a big baby, nudging you to pet him again and again, but you have to be cautious with him because after a few minutes of flopping this way and then that, Boy can become overstimulated and he might nip your hand. It’s just a little nip, but still, it could frighten a child, so Boy should ideally go to a home in which he has adult guardians who are willing to get him running after things so he gets tuckered out, lots of space to do that running around in, and scratch pads and posts so he can work off his excess energy. After playing with him for a while, I think we should change his name to “Energizer Bunny.”
