History : Stray
Subjective: Sleeping prior to intake, very calm and friendly during exam, allowed most handling although preferred to be at back of cage during exam.
Objective
BCS 5/9, MMs pink
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Male neutered
MSI: Three pink masses on the right flank – hairless, pedunculated, semifirm, slightly lumpy. The caudal-most one is about 2 cm dia, with mild superficial ulceration. Middle mass is 3 cm dia, cranial mass 1 cm dia. Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, healthy hair coat.
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Masses on right flank – R/O neoplasia such as mast cell tumor, cutaneous leukemia, histiocytic sarcoma, soft tissue sarcoma – vs. benign masses.
Plan: Recommend 3-view chest rads and FNA of masses – with plan to do excisional biopsy if appropriate.
Prognosis: Good to poor, depending on final dx of masses
Re Exam:
4/26/17
Hx: Stray cat with masses on right flank. Good appetite overnight, meowing for attention this morning.
S: Meowing for attention, purrs when petted, rubs face on my hands. Allows full exam.
O:
BCS 5/9, MMs pink
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted. Moderate tartar on PMs and Ms.
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Male neutered

Plan:
1. Recommend 3-view chest rads and FNA of masses – with plan to do excisional biopsy if appropriate
2. Recommend dental cleaning in next 6-18 months and daily tooth brushing
Enrichment:
FELV+, two large masses on right side, one ulcerated. Resting on bedding towards front, soft eyes and body. Chirped and sat up when door opened. Leaned and arched into pets, purred.

Bosko allowed finder to pick him up and put him into a bag. Finder pet him and Bosko did not run away.
During his intake Bosko shoved his head out of the bag and ran accross the table towards counselor’s hand and gave a strong head butt and everytime counselor moved his hands Bosko followed in hopes of getting more head rubs and when the hand was taken away he would just roll over and rub on the nearest object. Very social and allowed all handling for collaring, scanning and photograph
