SAFE 3/10/18 Poor BOOKY was found tied to a pole with a bag of his things, including medication. He has a healing wound on his hind end and is a bit matted. Booky is a calm kitty but is a little nervous. He needs a furever home asap.

Observed Behavior – Appeared nervous in carrier, once out of carrier calm for exam and allowed all handling

EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Mild dental staining, pink mm
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Male
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, full healthy hair coat with few areas of matting around hind end and left inguinal area, ~1.5cm round lesion (looks like deep healing abrasion)
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Presented with bottle of terbinifine pills from 2/17/17
Healing wound – woods lamp negative, areas of matting
Prognosis: Excellent
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC. DTM sample taken. Cleaned area of dilute lime sulfur dip. No additional treatment indicated at this time
