SAFE 12/20/17 BOOBOO was brought to the shelter when owner died. He is very affectionate and attention seeking and gives head bumps and allows all handling. Booboo is a bit of a chunky monkey and is about 7 yrs old. Please give this sweet boy a home for the holidays.

Oral Exam: Grade 1+/4 dental dz
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: both testicles palpable scrotally
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, several large mats along caudal dorsum, dandruff+++
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: Obesity (approximately 30% overweight)
Plan: Combed out mats. Acceptable candidate for adoption or rescue. Recommend weight loss of about 6 lbs, slowly.
