WHO WOULD NOT WANT TO TAKE A MELLOW, EASYGOING CAT LIKE BOO?? BOO is already SPAYED. Right now, she is not feeling on top of the world because she has a cold. Which is probably why she didn’t get adopted at the event she attended….COLDS ARE NOT FOREVER BUT DEATH IS…..BOO will make some purrson or family very happy but she needs to get that chance before noon tomorrow!! Boo has no known health issues & has been surrendered to ACC due to owners residential move to a home that does not allow pets. SOCIALIZATION: Boo is friendly & social towards strangers, she allows strangers to pick her up & pet her. Boo also allows strangers to pet her & carry her. Boo has resided with small children & gets along well. Boo is tolerant of child play. She plays gently with adults & children. Boo has resided with aother cat & gets along well with her. Boo enjoys playing with other cats & is tolerant of their presence. Boo has not resided with other small animals or dogs. Boo has not bitten or scratched another animal or person within the past 10 days. BEHAVIOR:Boo is tolerant of being placed inside of a carrier. She allows owner to pick her up with ease & loves affection. Boo uses her litter box does not use a scratching post. Boo has not scratched household furniture. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Boo is best decribed as a friendly, affectionate & loving cat. Boo enjoys sun bathing & playing with cat toys such as balls & strings. Boo is kept indoors only, but has escaped previously and returned back the same day. Boo enjoys sleeping on the couch & next to the owner.Boo will follow the owner around when the owner comes home. She enjoys eating dry food from any brand. Boo uses an open litter box with clay litter. Boo is very affectionate & is constantly seeking owner to pet her. Boo would do best in a family home. Boo’s previous owner reports she is friendly and social towards strangers, allowing them to pet her and pick her up. She is tolerant of child play and plays gently with adults and children. She enjoyed playing with the other resident cats. She was described as friendly, affectionate, and a loving cat. She enjoys sun bathing and playing with cat toys. Reaction to assessor: Boo comes to the front and is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Boo head-butts and rubs the cage door with her cheeks. Reaction to cage door opening: Boo remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Boo shifts away slightly and was hesitant at first. She lowers her body, but with a slow approach she allows petting and leans in. She seems unsure when you extend your hand, but warms up and will rub her cheeks and purr. Reaction to pick up: Boo remains calm and purrs when held. Placement Determination: Average Boo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
