9/3/16 16:22 Basic information: Bo was brought in as a stray. The finder found Bo on the street, the finder placed Bo in a cardboard box and brought Bo to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Bo had tense, stiff body. Bo would retreat from extended hand. We were able to scan (negative), collared, pictured and place in a cat kennel.

Reaction to assessor: Bo looks tense, crouched down with head up when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bo remains in place, alert with normal shape eyes. Reaction to touch: Bo slowly crouch walks towards the front and began to lean into the assessor’s hand while he appreciates the petting. Reaction to Being Picked up: He becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Bo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
