ENRICHMENT NOTES:
05/21/18
Lying in back of kennel, pupils dilated and eyes wide. Makes eye contact and hisses continuously when spoken to. He steps forward curiously as I open the kennel door, pupils remaining dilated and ears shifting forward as he sniffs my hand. Allows slow and gentle petting along head and body while arching back and raising his fluffy tail. Social but unsure after first day – has potential to warm up!
05/22/18
At the front of the kennel, looking out at surroundings. Sniffs hand, then gently rubs his cheeks against the cage door. Leans in when rubbed on cheeks, arches body and allows petting all over. His eyes dilated, tail sways back and forth with every soft pass along his back. Didn’t display any further behavior. Remained calm and affectionate. Didn’t mind being picked up. Did well!

Blue is social and affectionate but appears to show signs of overstimulated. We also recommend fishing pole-type toys for play as they allow for interaction and vigorous, stimulating exercise while keeping human hands at a distance.
