BLANKET – A1087870
Safe - 9-12-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 09/12/16*** ADORABLE LITTLE BLANKET IS ONLY 8 WEEKS OLD AND TESTED POSITIVE FOR FELV – SO THE SHELTER HAS SENTENCED THIS BABY TO DIE! FELV should not be a death sentence! FELV cats can certainly live with other FELV cats and with dogs or just alone!! A kitten this young can easily test positive for FELV and after some time can test negative. However, this baby doesn’t have the time to be retested – the ACC is going to kill this little girl with the big round sad eyes at noon tomorrow unless a foster can step up to save her. BLANKET was given no behavior eval but really – this is a tiny kitten just under 2 lbs…..she needs a loving foster to help her grow and then be retested for FELV. IF YOU HAVE A SPARE ROOM OR SPOT IN YOUR HOME, WHERE YOU CAN GIVE BLANKET A SAFE HAVEN, PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] FOR RESCUE INFO.
