11/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Puff Daddy was brought in without information on his behavioral tendencies in his previous home. He lived in a home with many cats. He resisted handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Biggie does not come to the front, but appeared neutral. Reaction when softly spoken to: Biggie looks at the assessor with almond-shaped eyes, but his body appeared tense. Reaction to cage door opening: Biggie becomes stiff and alert, but remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Biggie’s ears tilt sideways, but he remains completely immobile as the assessor extended their hand and when petting him gently on his head and body. His body was very tense throughout the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experienced, No Children Biggie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
