S/O: BAR, hydrated, no URI signs, mm’s pink and moist, clean adult dentition, non-weight bearing on left hind leg with crepitus felt proximal to stifle (suspect left femoral fracture), BCS 3-4/9, clean ears and haircoat, developed mammary glands (normal abdominal palpation – not currently pregnant), no other wounds or injuries noted, 3/6 parasternal heart murmur
A: suspect left femoral fracture
P: start hydro BID for pain management
sign up for NPO overnight and sedated x-rays tomorrow
ENRICHMENT:
Recent mom, heart murmur, possible hind leg fracture. Super sweet! Chirped and rubbed against bars. Ate one treat from hand, then head-butted the rest away to make room for pets. Incredibly friendly and affectionate.
