EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: Teeth in good condition, mild staining, pink mm
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Male
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, superficial abrasions behind ears
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Ear mites suspected due to abrasions behind ears and straymate having ear mites
Plan: Ivermectin 0.15ml SQ given for suspect ear mites. Continue to monitor while at BACC
Prognosis: Excellent
SURGERY: Okay for surgery
