Medical Behavior Evaluation ORANGE
Medical Summary Scan negative N; 4 YO; 15.56 LB At time Bentley came to medical, he was hissing and lunging and attempting to bite. This is likely due to pain and the fact that the cat had supposedly been at another vet just hours prior where he went through extensive testing as well, and it is very likely this behavior is circumstantial, not innate. Was surrendered with a report by owner that he is unable to urinate and that the vet earlier in the day said he had a blockage due to crystals. Only record provided by surrenderer was invoice from the vet earlier in the day. Sedated with 0.15cc telazol for exam Was unable to manually palpate the bladder Took 3 rad views – VD; RL and LL Bladder appeared empty – was likely emptied by the vet earlier in the day, but unsure Rads forwarded to on-call vet; was determined that the cat was stable enough to remain here overnight until the vet could examine in AM. Set up in a cage in medical. Administered 0.42cc Buprenorphine 0.5mg/ml per on-call
Weight 15.6
