EENT: OU-mild intermittent blepharospasm, no d/c; no nasal discharge, sneezing or coughing noted; AU-clean
Oral Exam:mm pk, sl tacky; CRT <2 sec; all deciduous dentitia present
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: soft, doughy, nonpainful; intestines slightly thickened/ropey
U/G: male intact, 2 scrotal testicles
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, mild residual flea debris, underweight
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal:grossly normal
Assessment
1. Underweight
2. Intestinal thickening
Prognosis:good, parasites likely as cause of poor BCS and intestinal thickening
Plan:
LRS 30 ml SQ SID x 3 days
cerenia 0.2 ml SQ SID x 2 days
monitor for URI, inappetance
SURGERY:
