History : Abandoned in an apartment with a male cat and their litter of three 3-month-old kittens. One kitten tested positive for FeLV; all other cats in this litter tested negative.
Subjective: Alert, walks tentatively out of carrier
Observed Behavior – Allows all handling, relaxed
Evidence of Cruelty seen – None
Evidence of Trauma seen – None

BAR-H, MMs pink and moist, BCS 5/9
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Clean adult teeth, very mild staining only
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Female intact, mammary glands developed and moderately engorged, lactating
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Normal externally
Assessment: Lactating
Prognosis: Excellent
Plan: Spay, adopt. Recommend repeating FeLV/FIV test in 3-6 months.
