09/05/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/05/17 18:15 Basic Information: Batman is a 3 year old, male gray tabby cat. He was given to the owner by a friend about 1 year ago when he was 2 years old. She cannot keep Batman due to her new roommate’s allergies. He last went to the vet in May and has no known health problems. Socialization: Around strangers Batman is shy for a few days but very friendly after he gets to know you. He plays very gentle when he plays with adults. He’s never been around children, other cats or dogs previously. Behavior: Batman may scratch the furniture sometimes, and sleeps and stays relaxed in the car. When given a bath he will struggle a little trying to get out but doesn’t swat. He isn’t bothered being brushed or picked up but struggles when you try and place him in a carrier. For a New Family: Batman is shy, independent and talkative with a low to medium activity level. He loves to catch treats in the air when thrown to him and he really enjoys the wand toys. He sleeps on the couch at night and he eats both wet and dry food. His litter box is hooded and he uses clumping litter. His scratching post is made out of cardboard. Behavior During Intake: He didn’t come out of the carrier even when I put wet food in front of his face. He waited for a bit so I pulled him out and his body was soft. He allowed collar but attempted to flee numerous times during the picture. He allowed for me to scan him for a microchip as well, which was negative
