Subjective: Alert in carrier.
Observed Behavior – Hisses and growls, and tries to stay in carrier until it’s impossible, then flees across the room. Put in Freeman net for exam. Once in net, pt was tense but did not move, allowed most handling.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – None

EENT: Mild crusty nasal discharge. Eyes clear, ears clean, no ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Not performed due to net
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Male intact, testicles S/S
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Normal externally
Assessment: URI
Prognosis: Good
Plan:
1. Doxycycline 0.9 ml PO SID x10 days
2. Fortiflora PO SID x14 days
3. Vit B12 0.25 ml SQ once
