SAFE 7/30/18 BANNOCK is about 7 yrs old and was found with another cat. He has urinary tract issues and is straining to urinate. Bannock needs a full medical eval to determine what is wrong. He also has dental issues that need follow up care. Please give this handsome panther boy a home. He is already neutered.

Subjective: Alert, urinating constantly – clear and straw-colored, pt cannot stop squatting to urinate.
Observed Behavior – Allows full exam and leans into petting. Yowls for blood draw.

BAR-H, MMs pink and moist, BCS 7/9
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Severe tartar and gingivitis
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Soft, non painful, no masses palpated, not distended
U/G: Male neutered. Cannot palpate bladder.
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Normal externally
Assessment:
1. Polyuria +/- straining to urinate – R/O FLUTD vs. CKD vs. other
2. Severe dental disease
3. Overweight
Prognosis: Fair-good
Plan:
