11/10/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Bandit was curled up on his blanket with his head resting against the litter box. Reaction when softly spoken to: Bandit’s ears perk up then rolls around on her side and glances over at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Bandit tenses up and is alert. Reaction to touch: Bandit sniffs the assessor’s hand and allows petting on his head and body. He rolls around when rubbed on his cheek, appreciates attention, and doesn’t get up or come forward when coaxed. His body relaxes a bit and feels confident at the back of the kennel. Reaction to being picked up: Bandit was tense when held, looks around wary of his surroundings the jumps back into the kennel and retreats to the back. Behavior Determination: Experience Bandit may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents and any adopter with young children should conduct a thorough interaction before adopting.
