***SAFE 09/29/16*** BAGEL AND BUTTONS MAY HAVE COME IN TOGETHER…BUT MAY NOT LEAVE TOGETHER! You see only one of the 8-9 week old girls is listed tonight. The ACC seemingly left poor BAGEL A1090235 off the list and ONLY girlfriend, BUTTONS IS LISTED! She needs an EXPERIENCED person that can provide her with a relaxing home. Her fear has her handcuffed to her behavior rating but did allow some handling. Offer to FOSTER OR ADOPT BOTH PLEASE! They need each other like BAGELS AND… well you get the picture!

09/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Buttons was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Buttons was pressed up against the back wall of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Buttons becomes alert and shifts around with her tail lowered. Reaction to cage door opening: Buttons remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Buttons is hesitant of contact and leans away from contact when the assessor extends his hand out. Her body is tense and she closes her eyes when rubbed. After a couple of minutes she slowly opens up, leans in and appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Buttons is tense when held and curls up tight in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Experience Buttons may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
