Basic Information:
Baby is a 6 year old spayed female DSH that owner has to surrender due to personal problems.
Socialization:
According to the owner, around strangers Baby is nervous at first and will try to hide but once comfortable, she plays gently with adults. She has been around children ages 4-13 & was always respectful and playful with the children. Owner had 19 other cats in the home & stated that Baby was always respectful around the other cats. She has never been around other dogs so behavior is unknown. Baby has never bit another animal or person while in the care of the owner.
Behavior:
Baby is afraid of being given a bath, having his nails trimmed and being put into a carrier and will struggle to run away. She is not bothered by having her coat brushed and being picked up/held.
For a New Family to Know:
Baby is described as friendly, affectionate, playful and quiet with a low activity level. In the home, Baby liked to follow the owner around & give kisses. She enjoys playing with balls, string toys, and catnip toys in the home. Baby was kept indoors only & is litter box trained. In the home, she used a hooded litter box with clumping litter. Owner had a scratching post made of carpet in the home that Baby used but owner also stated that Baby would scratch on the furniture in the home. Baby was fed both wet & dry food brand name Friskies.
