I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 03/08/2016 from NY 11374, owner surrender reason stated was INAD FACIL.

03/08/16 16:14 Baby is a one year old black and white domestic short hair. Baby has some hair loss on legs but no known medical conditions. Baby was brought into ACC as a stray. During intake Baby was shy and quiet. Baby was tense when counselor scanned and collared her but stayed still and allowed all handling.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Baby looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Baby remains crouched position in the litter box, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Baby at first, lifts up her head and accepts the stroke then began to lip lick as she curls up tighter in place. Placement determination: Experience Baby tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
