01/25/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Creamsicle continues to hide. (was hiding on approach) Reaction when softly spoken to: Creamsicle continues to hide. Reaction to cage door opening: Creamsicle remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Creamsicle remains immobile in his hidey box and allows the touch, but cries. Behavior Determination: Experienced, no children. Creamsicle tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children. 1/27 update: Aurelio continues to hide in his kennel and has not warmed up to his caretakers. Due to his stress level we recommend that he move into a stable home environment quickly.
