Behavior:
KNOWN HISTORY:
Atari was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. His finder was able to catch him and place him inside a carrier. He appeared timid during intake, but did not display any fractious behavior.
EVALUATION:

Reaction to assessor: Atari turns to look at the assessor and remains calm.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Atari looks at the assessor with almond-shaped eyes, but his ears tilt slightly sideways.
Reaction to cage door opening: Atari becomes alert.
Reaction to touch: Atari was hesitant of contact, but remains motionless and accepts all petting. He shifts away slightly when pet on his cheeks, but continues to allow gentle strokes when interacting with him slowly and will begin to purr.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Scared but allows handling.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow
VOCAL: Quiet
CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Calm, Sweet
RECOMMENDATIONS:
