ASH – A1064198
Safe - 2-16-2016 Manhattan Rescue: The Animal Haven Please honor your pledges: www.theanimalhaven.com
**SAFE 02/16/16** BEGINNER-rated HEART THROB! Someone found ASH in their home and brought him into the shelter because they already had cats of their own, which sounds too convoluted to be believed. No matter how he came to wind up at the shelter, ASH has done nothing but IMPRESS everyone there, even earning glowing volunteer comments: “A volunteer writes: Ashton patiently observes adoptions from his kitty condo and is remarkably appreciative of attention. Initially a little on the shy side, this young cat was found as a stray and has been slowly but surely coming out of his shell. When I opened the door of his condo, he wasted no time and came right over to head-butt my face. Ashton has that superstar personality combination of playful and sweet that has everyone swooning over him, but he just hasn’t met the perfect match yet. We’re sure he will and it might be you, so come visit him today! Another volunteer writes: This little man sports a gorgeous blue-grey coat and a sparkling white cravat down his chest. Add to that little white ankle socks in the front and knee highs in the back, and a little schmushed face, and you’ve got the definition of adorable. Did I mention that he also gives soft, gentle air kisses? Well he surely does.” Is the ACC actually going to kill a cat that gives “SOFT, GENTLE AIR KISSES?” Of course they are, unless a FOSTER/ADOPTER is found for perfect ASH, tonight!

02/02/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
02/02/16 11:50 Ashton A1064198 is a male gray & white DSH feline who was found in the finder’s residence and is being brought in due to them not being able to keep him due to having pets of their own. They stated they believe neighbors moved & left him behind. They also stated Ashton is friendly and allowed them to pick him up and place him into a bag to be brought into our BXAC. During intake Ashton allowed all handling. He held onto my shoulder as I scanned (-) him. He also allowed to be collared & taken pictures of including positioning him during his photo session. Ashton didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
