*** SAFE 09/08/16 *** ADORABLE ARMANI IS ONLY 6 MONTHS OLD!!…..You would think the ACC would want
to work with a cat like ARMANI who is just fearful, not aggressive….but no, much easier to throw him on a list than to do anything pro-active….
ARMANI is publicly adoptable but you can also apply to foster through a NEW HOPE rescue. Either way, ARMANI needs some Time and TLC to come out of his shell….PLEASE BE THE PURRSON THAT GIVES HIM THAT OPPURRTUNITY!! If you need assistance, email us at [email protected]

08/31/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Armani was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Armani hisses and curls up tight at the back of the kennel when you approach him. Reaction when softly spoken to: Armani come has wide eyes focused on the assessor, lip licks and slowly backs away. Reaction to cage door opening: Armani remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Armani lowers his body and looks around for an exit when the assessor extends his hand out. He hisses when touched along his body and slowly presses up against the back wall of the kennel. His body is tense and continues to lip lick throughout the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Armani tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
