Reaction to assessor: Aries looks tense, crouched position on his cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Aries retreats to the back of the cage, stress meowing, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Aries stiffens during the stroke then slowly began to lean into the assessor’s hand but remains wary with his surroundings. Placement determination: Experience Aries tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
