SAFE 5/31/18 Archer is a 1 year old gray tabby domestic short hair cat. He lived with his previous owner for one year. He was surrendered when his owner lost her home. Archer lived with his one year old brother Guinness – 28846. He was very affectionate with the other cat. They would sometimes play somewhat rough.  A staff member writes, “Hey, Archer here. I’m a master of espionage. I was sent on a super secret mission that my mother, Mallory, sent me on and I may have taken a wrong turn or two. I believe Lana may have sabotaged me somehow. Either way, I’ve changed my current mission to reconnaissance this facility I’m currently in. I can’t seem to figure what these humans are doing, but the food here isn’t bad at all. Lana!!! Dang, she can’t hear me. I swear to god I had something for this! Listen, help a handsome guy like me out. I’ll boop your nose. You know you want it. Sploosh!”

For a New Family to Know
Guinness was kept as an indoors only cat. He used to follow his owner around the house when he was hungry. At other times, he’d stay in his favorite spot. He eats both wet and dry food twice a day. He likes to sleep on top of cabinets. He doesn’t have any favorite treats, but his owner states that friskies brand treats and food upset his stomach. He uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. He uses a scratching post made out of carpet and wood. He likes to play with laser pointers.

Behavior Notes:

Upon intake, Archer did not want to get out of his carrier. He kept on backing into his carrier when I tried to collar him. His eyes were dilated. He had to be tilted out of the carrier. When he was outside, he curled up and tucked his tail tightly around his body. He allowed me to collar him and put him in a kennel.
