***GONE 08/13/16*** 13 WEEK OLD GRAY KITTEN AMSTERDAM IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY AND WILL DIE BECAUSE – WAIT FOR IT – SHE HISSED!!! These excuses to kill are getting old and we hope that you folks reading this are getting as angry over it as we are. AMSTERDAM is a 13 week old little girl who came into the shelter as a stray. She was quiet and calm and showed no sign of aggression. Fast forward to her assessment – AMSTERDAM was sitting there tense and hissed when they stuck the big fake plastic hand in her cage – but after she felt the touch, she allowed petting. THIS IS ONLY A FRIGHTENED BABY – CAN YOU BLAME HER? DON’T LET THE ACC HAVE THE LAST SAY IN HER LIFE – CONTACT A RESCUE GROUP NOW TO PULL THIS KITTEN TO SAFETY – PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT. THIS BABY WILL BE A LITTLE PURR-BUG IN NO TIME AT ALL! BE HER HERO TONIGHT!

08/12/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Amsterdam looks tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Amsterdam remains in place, alert with eyes wide open and ears down to the side. Reaction to touch: Amsterdam avoids contact at first then hisses, but once touched she stiffens up and shows no interest to the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Amsterdam tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
