02/06/18
Lying in back of kennel with a low body, tail down. Tolerates petting along his head and body while remaining very still, ears tilting. Makes eye contact, then looks away. Wary of surroundings. Steps forward curiously for treats, then backs away whenever there is a loud noise in the room. Needs more time to adjust.
02/07/18
Timid, low body posture, curled up under his kuranda bed. Pupils dilated, seems unsure of his surroundings. He inches away when the door opens and slowly looks around, scanning his surroundings. Flinches slightly when touched. Slowly starts to warm up and arches his back. Very food motivated- comes forward for treats. A little shy, just needs more time to adjust.
02/07/18
Sitting in front of kennel, body low and pupils dilated. Makes eye contact when spoken to. Tolerates petting along his head and body while leaning away and retreating through portal, body low and tail lowered. Sniffs treats offered but is too uncomfortable to eat them during interaction. Needs more time to adjust.
02/08/18
Crouched on top his kuranda bed. He seems unsure of his surroundings, watches with wide, wary eyes. Hesitant initially, but slowly warms up when pet along his body. He perks up, hops down from his perch and leans in for attention. Very food motivated! Loved Party Mix treats. I was able to coax him to the front of the kennel. He leans out to scan his surroundings and allows petting all over. Doing better!
