Medical Summary 03/24/16 16:03 initial exam microchip scan negative approx 3 week old male intact DSH kitten deciduous incisor teeth have erupted but canines/premolars/molars still all unerrupted conjunctivitis OD, OS is WNL; no URI signs BCS 5/9 lame on right hind leg – possible hock injury (increased laxity in the tarsocrural joint) vs. neurologic deficit — no visible wounds and no palpable broken bones, non-painful when limb is manipulated heart and lungs WNL on auscultation ears clean AU fleas and flea dirt seen – given capstar and fipronil spray on exam mm’s pink drinking milk replacer from a bottle well – needs to be bottle fed due to slow tooth erruption recommend new hope placement due to right hind limb lameness no vaccines given due to underage start ponazuril and panacur deworming
