SAFE 10/17/17 Ace was abandoned in the shelter lobby. She is about 10 yrs old and very nervous. Ace has a mammary gland tumor which needs medical evaluation. She also has some dental issues. Please help this girl get the vetting she needs and a new home.

EENT: Eyes clear with lenticular sclerosis ou, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: adult dentition with moderate dental disease, no oral lesions noted
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: FI, left caudal MGT ~4cmx3cm and bruised, no vulvar d/c
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, matted haircoat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment:
MGT-left caudal mammae
Moderate dental disease
Matted
Diffuse bronchial pattern
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Sedated with 0.1ml telazol IM
3 view CXR-mild diffuse bronchial pattern, no signs of metastasis
Shaved mats
Prognosis: Guarded
SURGERY: permanent waiver for surgery due to age and MGT
