***SAFE 05/28/16*** “Abbey was running around the trap trying to get out.” Well, no kidding, what cat is going to react to being trapped by laying on their back and purring the national anthem? ABBEY is a 2-year-old BOY who was trapped by some guy, then brought to the ACC, and his New Hope rating comes as no surprise. Abbey may very well have belonged to someone, since his medical notes show a clean, well-groomed cat who is simply freaked out by his sudden change of circumstance. It’s not Abbey’s fault that some guy in the 10307 zip code was a trap-happy cowboy. This exquisite panther dies tomorrow at noon unless a NEW HOPE rescue pulls him to safety, tonight!
