***SAFE 10/05/16*** AND THE HOARDING CONTINUES…ZORA, CAME IN WITH 11 OTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN LISTED OR WILL BE LISTED…BUT FOR NOW, ZORA IS THE ONE WITH AN ACC BULLSEYE ON HIS BACK! He’s 3 and scared and separated from his housemates. Whatever conditions they were kept in is not known, but what is known is that these 12 cats were used to each other…lived with each other… SCARED with each other. And now may die all ALONE! ZORA has an old scratch on his nose but that’s no big deal! PLEASE… FOSTER OR ADOPT ZORA, as long as you have experience and no kids, this guy should thrive, if given the chance. IF YOU can…take some of his housemates too! Karma will be so good to you if you can do that for these guys!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Zora looked tense, sitting upright at the back of the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Zora remained in place, alert with a blank stare. Reaction to touch: Zora allowed the stroke, but showed no interest to the touch and remained immobile. Placement determination: Experience / no child Zora tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
